Ed Homan is an Assistant Professor of orthopedic surgery at the USF Medical School. He practices at the University Community Hospital where he is Chief of Orthopedics and was the Chief of Staff in 1996-1997. Homan served as a physician in the U.S. Navy at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, from 1970 to 1972. Ed Homan is married to Carol Hodges, M.D. and they have five grown children. The Homan's live in Temple Terrace and are members of the Temple Terrace United Methodist Church. Ed and Carol are athletically active and have competed in the St. Anthony's triathlon since 2002 and have summitted the highest mountains in Europe (Mount Elbrus), Africa (Mt. Kilamanjaro), and the U.S. (Mt. Whitney) on recent vacations. |
